After an initial welcome in Egypt, Moses is dismayed to find that Pharoah does not recognise the LORD's name, that the people of Israel blame him for their increased suffering, and everything stays the same or gets worse. But the LORD speaks to repeat his name, and demonstrate that He is always in control, and will save his people as he promised.
