The Parish Church of St Peter, Paul & Thomas (PPT) has a congregation of about 150 adults and 30 children from the small market town of Bovey Tracey, Devon, and its surrounding villages. It is linked with the smaller rural village of Hennock, 3 miles to the north, and the parish church of St Mary’s Hennock.
Our Community
Church Mission
Jesus gave his disciples one Great Commission to make disciples of all nations, and two great commandments, to love God with all their hearts and to love their neighbours as themselves. For information on how we seek to fulfil this mission in three steps, see our Purpose & Belief statements.
Lent and Easter at PPT
The church observes a solemn season of Lent by fasting, prayer and study, from Ash Wednesday 18 February, with no flowers in church, and purple hangings, but we are looking forward to celebrating the resurrection of Jesus on Easter Sunday (4 April). There will be a united morning service at 10.30am on Palm Sunday, 29 March, followed by lunch, and an outdoor service to celebrate Easter morning.
