The Parish Church of St Peter, Paul & Thomas (PPT) has a congregation of about 150 adults and 30 children from the small market town of Bovey Tracey, Devon, and its surrounding villages. It is linked with the smaller rural village of Hennock, 3 miles to the north, and the parish church of St Mary’s Hennock.
Our Community
Church Mission
Jesus gave his disciples one Great Commission to make disciples of all nations, and two great commandments, to love God with all their hearts and to love their neighbours as themselves. For information on how we seek to fulfil this mission in three steps, see our Purpose & Belief statements.
Lent and Easter at PPT
Regular services are held in the church building at 9.30am (Sunday Praise with children’s groups), 11am: service with more traditional liturgy, and 5pm in the Church Room, followed by the 14-18yrs youth group. Wise Guys (for 11-14s) meets on Monday evenings at the Bovey Youth Cafe.
Our sermon series for the Spring is “Matthew: Majesty and Mission”.
Holy Week begins with a united service and lunch on Palm Sunday (13 April) and Easter is on Sunday 20 April. Details of Holy Week services are in the Spring Bulletin.
