We hold two services every Sunday morning, one informal, the other more traditionally Anglican, and an informal service at 5pm (6 pm from 23 June to 29 September) every Sunday evening. At each service we praise God together, learn from his word and are equipped to serve him in our daily lives. Holy Communion is celebrated at one service every Sunday.

9:30am Sunday Praise (PPTV)
Sunday Praise is an informal service with groups for primary school- age children, and a group for parents with pre-school children, a bible reading and sermon, prayers and hymns for adults. 11am Holy Communion
The 11am service follows the Common Worship liturgy of the Church of England.The third Sunday is usually a service of Morning Worship, and the other Sundays are Holy Communion. Music is led by a small choir, and the clergy wear robes at Holy Communion.
An informal evening service is held in the Church Room every Sunday at 5pm (6pm during the summer months from June – September). Refreshments are served before the service, and we use video recordings to accompany our singing. We usually follow a different sermon series to the morning service.

Recurring Events
As the Civic Church of the town of Bovey Tracey, PPT hosts a variety of special services and concerts throughout the year, as well as being a popular venue for weddings. Highlights include Remembrance Sunday parade, the Nourish Festival concerts, Christingle, and Carols by Candlelight.
Morning prayer is said on Zoom at 9am on Mondays and Fridays at PPT, and a midweek Communion service held on Wednesday at 10am.
Small Groups & Garden Groups
Since the earliest days of the church, Christians have met both in public and in private homes. All groups at PPT share a commitment to study the bible, to pray for one another and the wider world, to care for one another and to look beyond themselves and show care and hospitality to family, neighbours and friends, that others may find faith in Jesus Christ. In this way we help one another to grow in faith and love for Jesus, and to glorify His name. At present we have a dozen groups meeting at different times and places, for different ages and sexes.

We are hoping to resume groups for young people in July 2020, as restrictions are lifted.
Monthly Prayer Meeting
The Monthly Prayer Meeting is held on the first Wednesday of every month at 7.30pm in the church room. Catch up with the latest news, and pray for the life of the church and the wider world.
Christianity Explored
We run the Christianity Explored course every year to help people to discover who Jesus is and why he came. We eat together, watch a DVD presentation and read the gospel of Mark. You can ask any question, but there is no pressure to contribute, and you won’t be expected to sing, pray or anything!
