Jesus commanded his apostles to make disciples of all nations, baptising them and teaching them to obey all his commands. Jesus also told his disciples to welcome children.
We welcome all requests by parents for their children to be baptised or ‘christened’. We ask you to attend some church services and a preparation session (often held on a Saturday morning)so that you can understand what it means to bring children up as part of the Church family, following Jesus’ teaching. We regularly baptise adults who want to follow Jesus, after proper preparation on courses like Christianity Explored or Walking the Way. We usually conduct baptisms during a main service (9.30 or 11am). There is no charge for baptism.
