Since the earliest days of the church, Christians have met both in public and in private homes.  All  groups at PPT share a commitment to study the bible, to pray for one another and the wider world, to care for one another and to look beyond themselves and show care and hospitality to family, neighbours and friends, that others may find faith in Jesus Christ. In this way we help one another to grow in faith and love for Jesus, and to glorify His name. At present we have a dozen groups meeting at different times and places, for different ages and sexes.

Anna Chaplaincy is a ministry offering spiritual care in later life.

At this church we have a team of Anna Chaplains and Anna Friends, male and female, who, once their training has been completed are commissioned by either the Vicar or the Bishop for this ministry.

Bovey Tracey has many elderly people, many of whom find leaving their homes very difficult, some of whom are housebound and we offer a few hours every month to many of them. Each member of the team has a group of people whom we visit or telephone regularly supporting them with their emotional and spiritual needs.

In addition, we have developed a good relationship with the local residential home where we hold regular worship and communion services and visit individual residents.

We all enjoy our ministry and gain so much from spending time with those whom we visit.
